I'm getting into Chubb Rock's "The One" again man I had totally forgotten how much I loved it first time around (although don't rely on AllMusic for the review they don't like it).

^never heard that actually. But Chubb Rock was great. His verse on the Crooklyn Dodger's "Return" single was amazing.

Yeah there was a time when he and Kool G Rap were killing it with great technical rhyme play which he exhibits really nicely on this LP - always surprises me and great choices of samples and chunky stuff

After one play through i think it falls a little short of the 1st one. The beat on the opening track is sick though. Might grow on me more after a few more listens.

Yeah, I actually didn't even listen to the first album before listening to the new one and both of them had grow on me, but when they did, I find that i'm really diggin em. I've listened to RTJ2 5+ times this past week. It had been a while since I had listened to El-P.
