I haven't actually played it but from what I've seen I'm not so sure I'd have a lot of fun with it. The handling model looks really really weird. The social elements look like they're pretty excellent though. I have PSPlus so once they finally get around to releasing that version I'd like to try it.

I'm not a car enthusiast nor am I a huge driving fan, so I appreciate people may disagree, but I don't understand how the handling is weird. I think everything about how it plays is great. It reminds me a lot of Metropolis Street Racer (and the Project Gotham series), which I loved.

As for Shadow of Mordor, it's a great game for sure. I definitely recommend it too, although I personally don't see the huge deal about the nemesis system... (although admittedly it is fairly cool, at least at first...)

DriveClub is hated upon? I hadn't noticed really other than the rightful complaining over them stiffing us PS+ users out of the trial mini version of the game, and well their server problems they can't get sorted.

Even I find those reasons for hating driveclub being weird even though it's annoying that, I can't download it but eh I have other things I can play

Uh, frankly I find the constant moaning about the delay in the FREE trial version annoying. Just suck it up and wait it out. You haven't paid for it (and don't even start that just by subscribing to PS+ gives you any form of entitlement).

Yup it is annoying. I haven't complained about it so far. It was annoying but I understood the reasoning behind it and for those who can't they're just entitled babies who have zero patience. I think people do have a right to complain, to a point, but it's just beaten to death after the first day or two. They explained the issue, and to drag it out still is childish.

I understand people's frustrations, but it's just annoying for those who actually paid for the full game to be checking the official facebook page for updates on the server issues and just see floods of comments from people below each update, saying things along the lines of "wah wah wah but when is the free version going to be available!!!!????"

Yeah the whiners online never do quit nor relent. I see it enough on the hyperkin page for the R5 and it's just totally out of control between how somehow everyones unit magically is broken (yet the numbers the tech told me are single digit levels into their RMA area) and the endless whining of Euros about not being able to buy it (despite being told CE is holding it up because the bluetooth supplier won't share the schematics or it would be for sale.) It's just easier to bitch loudly, make a fool of yourself, and get other fools to play along with it cluttering up peoples discussions and enjoyment of a product.

The whining over the delay is especially stupid since they've clearly said why it's happening. The game's servers are struggling on the paid version, it probably isn't the best to send the flood of PSPlus users into them yet.

Really wish we had word on the new Gran Turismo game. :?

Fortunately, the server issues are finally starting to be fixed. I can get online all the time now and have my club set up (if anyone gets this game and fancies joining it, please do ask me and I'll send an invite). Now we just have to wait for them to unlock the challenges once the server is completely fixed and stable.
