I remember we had a thread in which a member posted an article about review scores and how they were too high and such.

I remember saying that it was kind of hypocritical because I looked back their scores and they had only rated four or five games below a 6 in 200 reviews.

No, no, it was not a thread driven by me, I just commented on it. It was also fairly recent, at least newer than those.

No, it was not that one either.

The thread simply had a link to an article about how game scores were too high and I simply commented on the hypocresy of it. I don't think it was a long thread either, it died very soon.

No, it was not about any particular game but about game sites not giving enough low scores or rating too high. It was a mid-sized website, not particularly well-known IIRC.
