So, a report was recently released saying that Capcom has an internal policy stating that all development on a sequel s cancelled unless the previous game in the series had at least 2 million copies sold. Now, Capcom has been losing money quickly lately, so they probably think that this is a good idea. But, anyone who knows how the market actually works knows that more well-designed lower-budget niche titles generally make more money in the long run than a single big-budget flop *cough*RE6*cough*. It's a real shame - this kind of behavior will be what sinks Capcom in the end. I don't want to see another titan of the industry crumble, and Capcom seems to be circling the drain...

Doesn't surprise me, of course they'll most likely never make a sequel again with that high of a standard.....ah well seems another will bite the dust sooner than later as it is....

Once a upon a time Capcom were kings of the industry.
Then shareholders and their over zealous expectations sucked the life out of the company. And it has lost many of its key developers as a result.
These days they're just Crapcom to me.
