Why is Ninja Gaiden so ridiculous? I just beat Ghouls N' Ghosts on Genesis last weekend, but this games still continues to kick my ass.

I just get to Stage 5-3, then continue to suffer an infinite amount of cheap deaths until I just give up. Ugh.

 I got a copy of Heavy Rain, and ran into freezing issues.

I've worked with every little thing I've found online that should ideally help, but it appears I might have a scratched disk, because the game freezes at the exact same spot every time. Deleting the game data and update and reloading them did nothing, neither did restarting the chapter. Its driving me nuts.

That joke goes back to the origin of freezing in Heavy Rain, wayyy back to 2010...

But I got the disk replaced where I bought it. It was a greatest hits disk, but I don't care as long as the box isn't greatest hits. It also comes with the single, pretty useless piece of DLC for free and some more extras (XMB themes, soundtrack, etc.), so it works for me.

And the guy at the store flat out said he'd never seen a scratched Bluray before  . Is it really that hard to scratch them?

I would think that Blu-Ray discs would be more susceptible to scratches due to higher data density.

^I've always found Blu-Rays far more durable than DVDs.

I've been consistently told they are hardier. The guy at the store mentioned an extra protective layer on the PS3 disks... he said a thin layer of titanium, but I don't think that's right.
