Which is why I only read stuff from places like funi and other official stuff so I only see the announcements and trailers(and completely avoid reading the comments if I can help it)

Yeah I understand you. I was in a one piece group once and the members made me really angry. They bitched so much about people spoiling plot points from the manga, but everything up to the latest anime episode was "ok to spoil" for them. fucking hypocrites.

It's alright so far. It's following the original manga a lot more closely, but it's not going panel-for-panel.

It's also moving a hell of a lot quicker (they're six episodes in and already introduced the 4th Senshi), which, depending on your preferences, can be a good or a bad thing.

Even though I love the original, even I admit that its plot is is a little too strung out (Thank you, Monster Of The Week formula). But at the same time, I think the original did put that extra time to good use by fleshing out the characters more. With only 24 (or 26, I forget) episodes to work with to encompass the whole first season, half of what the original had, you're exchanging more time with the character for a quicker plot, so it's a bit of a give and take.

Of course, like I said, they're only 6 episodes in, so maybe they'll squeak in some more character time, but if they do it probably won't be much (and will probably focus more on Usagi as opposed to the other girls.)

Watched an old favorite on VHS: Vampire Hunter D.
Still awesome.

This was one of the first full-length anime films available in North America, even before Akira. We used to call it "Japanimation" back then. Vampire Hunter D is a cult classic for a reason. If you haven't seen this one yet, do yourself a favor and look it up.

That reminds me I need to go rewatch that show...missed the ending of it because I started falling asleep before it came on when it was ending on tv(before I had my current job) :-\

Yeah the ending was a pretty big let down :P. To bad they didn't produce another season.

On another note I started up Tokyo ESP. Looks like it has a lot of potential and the first episode was pretty awesome. However episode 2 was a little slow, and while I like that they are going back to show everyone's back story it kind of sucked the energy out of the show. Hopefully things pick back up again in episode 3.

Yeah the bad thing about DMW was that apparently it wasn't as popular as hoped to produce a second season...

On another note I just finished rewatching this:

Pretty good though I forgot how long this thing was...I got a cramp in my hands watching it on my tablet  Though I do have to admit the ending really made me mad...it may just be me but it felt like it was prepping for a show to be made off of it which would've be amazing...

Also started watching eden of the east....man what a strange first 5 minutes of a show  But I'm definitely going to watch it all out
