I had lost momentum on Pandora's Tower on Wii, so i dedicated yesterday to reaching the end. Stayed up till 2am getting the second-best ending, and then got up early today to go re-start from before the point of no return, revisiting previous levels and raising affinity to get the S-rank ending, which has so much more detail than the mere A-rank one.

Now that i've gotten it out of my system, i can get back to finishing Metroid: Other M and begin Disaster: Day of Crisis for some reasonably short-game action before i delve into Xenoblade Chronicles. And THEN, i have waiting for me Sin and Punishment 2, the two Zeldas, Dead Space Extraction... man, i love my Wii!

I finished this one a few years back, I thought it was fun. Got to love eating hamburgers the size of your head and driving cars badly away from natural disasters.

Star Successor is the best game on the Wii. Suck it Mario Galaxy.

I've been wanting to try out an Armored Core game for a long time, but never knew where to start. So, I finally just started at the very beginning with 1997's initial Armored Core. I ended up really enjoying the game, even bothered to beat all 50 missions. I'm currently making my way through Armored Core: Project Phantasma, primarily the Arena Mode. (Made it to ranking number 9 thus far.) This is a really fun series from what I've played. I can see why it's lasted so long.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Yeah, i loaded up Disaster: DoC for a little bit to check it was working (bought preowned at HMV for 5 euro), and had a little chuckle first time i picked up one of those hamburgers!

I'm totally looking forward to S&P2, as i'm now on one of those 'short, but extreme replayability' vibes. Good times ahead!

Played up to World 4 on Super Mario Advanced 3: Yoshi's Island over the weekend while helping out with my Mom's 30th High school reunion. Kind of got to be a drag after a while so I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it now that I'm home :P.

Also tried a little F-Zero: Maximum Velocity but it just wasn't fun at all :P so after completing the first Pawn circuit I gave up. Game just felt like a chore the visuals were underwhelming and the Controls weren't very comfortable when playing on the DS. Might try it out on the GBA player later with a better controller and larger screen it might be better.

Borderlands 2 is, IMO, light years better than the first one. Everything about it is just an improvement. It was my 2012 GOTY and probably my favorite FPS of all time.

Except the lack of ammo regen for most characters in BL2. Salvador gets it through gunzerking and class mods, but it would have been nice for Axton to be able to ride that train the way Roland could in Borderlands. A level 69 Roland with +25 ammo regen, rank 5 Metal Storm, and 150 rounds in a Glorious Revolution combat rifle is a sight to behold. It sounds like a buzzsaw going off.

I've been hesitant to pick up any N64 games since I only had a crappy 3rd party controller but a friend of mine left me an N64 controlle when he visited recently. It's because of that, I can now play the copy Ocarina of Time I got as a gift last year.

It's amazing how much of a better experience I have of it since I'm playing it on the N64 with an actual controller. I own the GameCube Collector's Edition but never got past Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly. It just sat on my shelf. I'm now prepping for the Fire Temple and I'm further than I've ever been.

I'll have to find an expansion pak at this rate so I can play Majora's Mask next.
