Link?

My copy should be arriving in an hour assuming USPS tracking is accurate.

Again, there's two patches for Terranigma at that link, the one that worked is the one labeled "Reupload."

Ahh boo thats disconcerting lol
Actually, test it out yourself if you have a chance. I might just be an idiot.

@DonSilvestre

The new Terranigma patch is working for me too.

I also got Live A Live, Wonder Project J, and Emerald Dragon up and running with their respective patches.

I bet virtually every ips/ups patch that doesn't have issues with emulators will work with the R5. Good times.

Wish we could change the original post to something useful like the latest firmware update details or which stores have the Retron in stock. We already know that the device's compatibility does not suck donkey nuts.

Good suggestion.

Unfortunately I think I recall TheRev taking a giant dump in this thread and I don't think he's posted since.

Super Famicom games arrived! Gonna start testing the patches for Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger and Star Fox tonight.

EDIT:
LAME!
My R5 is having some issues with Super Famicom carts. It is VERY finicky about the placement of the cartridge. If it's too far in, it won't recognize the game, and I have to slowly pull it back up to get it to work. Even then, sometimes I get a really glitchy experience and have to wiggle the cart around a bit.

I thought it was just my Super Puyo Puyo cart, but this seems to be happening with all SFC games! Is anybody else having similar issues?

Aside from that, the patches are working fine thus far. SMRPG skipped a frame every now and then, but I'm not sure if that was the patch or related to my SNES slot issue.

Super Famicom games are way more finicky than SNES, yes.

I had to clean the hell out of all my SF carts. I recently played through Ys IV and it had to be wiggled around before every single play session before the R5 would recognize it.

Hmmm.... that's odd.

I haven't really had any problems with SNES or SFC carts. I have similar issues w/ the Genesis slot, though. Not all the time, but it happens occasionally.
