As far as I'm aware you can't emulate 360 yet, and I'm not planning on waiting around for it. Do any of the 360 shmups happen to run in MAME or the like?

I don't know but I did see that there are a few 360 emulators though it's rough still apparently but wouldn't hurt to try and look around surely someone will be getting close within the next year or two(heck one of the sites I used to use has psp on it now which is a big shock)

Xbox 360 emulation is still very early (heck oXbox is still early) and can only run (very slowly, with issues) one commercial game (Frogger). So I would not hold out for emulation.

PSP has been emulated for a while. So has 3DS.

Just considering the amount of games, I think I'm better off swapping to PS3. Waiting for emulation ain't going to happen. Now getting the money to do it, that's another question. Could I get more than 50 bucks at a pawn shop?

I don't know, I just know in my experience when I wanted my ps3, they just had the better deal for me. Especially because even now, the "blast from the past" bundles are horrible deals for me. They seem to be crammed with sports or fps games. Neither of which catch my interest

I would play on PC if it wasn't for my hand, and the absolute lack of a decent PC. My computers are for work and internet use, and little else. I do occasionally hook up a 360 controller, but it doesn't work for every game I do get to try. (Oh how I wish I could play TF2 on PC and actually do well.)

Also, I just learned Chivalry:Medieval Warfare is coming to consoles... on 360 and PS3. I'm not sure why they chose that, when PS4 and Xbone are out.

Since you're in college now you could sign up for a bunch of psych experiments and save up for a PS3 that way.

I thought about some of those I've gotten emails about, but then I saw the types of things they were targeting and it threw me off. No, I do not want to test your depression meds or smoke two packs of cigarettes and see how my mindset compares to the guy who doesn't. And all the stuff that has blood tests...

The Chivalry thing still blows my mind though.

EDIT: I realize I also wouldn't be able to play Witcher 2 anymore...

Been craving some more Super Mario Galaxy or platforming after finishing 2... so I'm thinking I might hit up Jak & Daxter or Sly 2, still got those HD collections to completely burn through. Thoughts on them? I really enjoyed Sly 1, but Jak would be new to me so I might go with that.

Just wrapped up Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time too, so only one more main game to go I guess. It's been a fun ride. They're different though and I wouldn't really compare them much to other platformers.
