Rather than make another thread, where should I buy a 3dsxl? EBay? GameStop? Amazon. I would like to go the cheap route and I did see good deals on eBay but don't want to get burned. And has anyone got one from GameStop used. How were they?

GameStop totally depends on who owned the system before you. They'll sell you shit. I'd go in the store and ask to compare the models if you go that route.

Nintendo has refurbished XLs on their site for $135. That's the route I'd go, as you get a 1 year warranty with it.

For once Full Price Books was Half Price again on a game, I found Adventure Time (garbage kind zelda2 clone) for $7 complete yesterday. I've been wanting that for awhile but have been too cheap and/or busy to pull the trigger. Can't wait to see what all the fuss was over it being so nice and all that.

Tanooki wrote:Wow I misread that, it's still the old 3DS. Damn them and their awful naming, someone says three 'new 3ds' and I think NEW 3DS, not 'a new 3ds.' Grr.
I was confused as well. I posted this "new" 3DSXL in the NEW 3DS thread only to later be corrected.

By the way, looks like 2DS stands for 2DiScontinued.

IDK man, in the past I've gotten a 360, PSP, and a PS2 that way. All work great and aren't beat to shit.

Yeah, that looks really sexy. The only problem is it's Gamestop exclusive and I don't want to break my streak of not supporting that company.

I'm going the Nintendo route. Its the cheapest way and safest way. The new nes version Thats comming out looks like Nintendo didn't put any effort into it except the box
