I actually thought "Handy" was hilarious.
It's even better when you watch the original first.

It always surprises me when I hear that an artist didn't want to be parodied by Al. I had never even heard of Iggy Azalea until he parodied her. You get tons of exposure by being parodied by him, it's no brainer to let him do it.

did she not want him to do it? I had no idea. Her album has been one of my favorite albums of the year since it was released, so yeah, that had a lot to do with me liking "Handy." I was impressed how much he mimicked her phrasings.

Sorry I shouldn't have paired those two thoughts quite that way. Other artists have not wanted to be parodied and I don't get it. Reason: my point about Iggy Azalea.

oh, oh I get it. Yeah in this example YOU were lead to her because of him. Got it. The one that stands out in my mind was that Coolio was pissed about "Amish Paradise." That just made me think the dude had no sense of humor.

Also, you should get Iggy's The New Classic. It's awesome. Check youtube for "Rolex," that's my fav track on there (and you might be interested to know it's about her break-up w/ A$AP Rocky).

Let's count the artists who have said that  though honestly I perfer his parodies over the originals more often than not....
