Wow eight tracks! Plus there is that promotional Mercedes stuff that should be coming out soon, right?

I think 64 and DS are the best iterations of the series. 64 has the best battle modes, and the DS had mission mode which I loved.

The DS one is the most recent one I got (I got it at Best Buy in Las Vegas for 21 bucks used but looked damn near brand new). I like it a good deal thus far. Good selection of new tracks and classic ones too. My only gripe with it thus far is the fact that I have to use the A button to accelerate. They couldn't use the B button and move the reverse button to Y or X? Y doesn't even do anything in that game, I think. My right hand hurts after a while using the A button in that game. Oh and Mario Kart 7 also uses A for acceleration too. WHY? Give my hand a break and let me use the B button, not the A button.

^ I have the same problem, my thumb and that whole part of my hand cramps up from keeping A pressed. Although, my left hand isn't any better. That thumb cramps up too any time I use the D-Pad (which is most of the time!).

Remember when Nintendo designed their handhelds to be comfortable and not just look good?

They're probably comfortable for kids. I'm an adult, and my hands are larger than a child's. I bet that's all it is. My hand never crimps up from the Gamepad. Compare the Gamepad to the bottom half of a 3DS, it's MUCH larger.

Get a circle pad pro. It expands the grip and makes it way more comfortable.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

For my 3DS XL, I got this thing:

Makes holding it far more comfortable for adult sized hands. You can get one here.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

That looks fairly interesting and slightly protective but I bet that would not be comfy in a pocket.
