Well, Mai was an unlockable character in XI, so maybe they're going for that again? I haven't seen Kula yet, which kinda depresses me as I love playing as her. Oh well, maybe I missed it. Glad to see Kim's still around though.

Kim's almost always around. He's one of the signature characters at this point. Also, he has lots of Korean appeal, which will help the game do well in Korea.

Mai has to be in this game. There's a legion of nerds that demand to see her sprite tits bounce in HD.

Nothing new there. This is all 3-month old footage remixed into a different video. Similar discussions were on SRK way back when ("where is Mai?", "why does Athena look like a child?", etc, etc).

It's been a bit slow on the KOFXII news for a while now.

Well, all the characters STILL look great, except Athena and Leona. Leona would be find except for the retarded belt and pants that make it look like someone grafted an emaciated woman onto the legs of a soldier. And yeah, the Athena as a child thing is annoying. I would think that Athena would actually, I dunno, get a little older as the series trudges on, rather than getting younger.

I also don't like the style of the portraits. Their faces all just look silly. But every since SNK gave up Shinkiro's art for the characters they've gone downhill in the portrait department.

Well I for one like the new art style. I found the KOF art up until now to be OK but nothing amazing. I think the new art (particularly Leona) looks great.

Looking forward to the game in a big way. Pity it's still 6 months away, but at least it'll mean time to polish it up.
