Anyone try windows 7 yet?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Once I get my new desktop all set to be my main machine, I'm gonna install it on my old P4 machine. Supposedly 7 will run better on older hardware than Vista.

Ya know, the more I use it, the more I see potential here. I really think 7 is going to be great for casual users. Vista felt like a blueprint to this. I wont really know how well it would serve on my main machine, for gaming and such, since I don't want to risk installing it on there right now.

Yeah I got the key but couldn't download the file. Strange.

Anyone have a torrent for the latest build because I hate downloading large files from http. No matter how many 'solutions' for resumable downloads I try they never ever seem to work.

I can't get it to DL either -- at least not with Firefox

Edit: they should just come out and tell you that you need to use IE because of ActiveX controlls for the downloader...

These downloads worked for me. First one is 32bit, 2nd is 64 bit. They are resumable. I dled them both at 600KB/sec. I dont know why you guys are having so much trouble.
