Damn cliffhangers the next Sword Art Online episode is going to be on my mind all week .

One of the few anime shows I did watch in sub form(next to shingeki no kyojin) but only because I was too impatient to wait for the dub and heard about it before it was even confirmed to possibly have a dub in the works unless you're talking about sao2 then I can understand the cliffhangers....one piece is really bad about that since that show feels like a big movie

Yeah I'm watching SAO2 with fan subs.

Yep 2 cliff hangers in a row. Pretty brutal. Athough at least the episode had Asuna taking a little initiative. Maybe she has a bigger role later in the anime.

You need to watch dead man wonderland that one is a great show....(i'd recommend one piece and fairy tail just because i love those shows but I'm not sure you'd like them...)

Out of what I am currently watching I would recommend the following.

Akame Ga Kill!- Great show as long as you are okay with some over the top violence.
Aldnoah.Zero- If you like mechs this is a really good show.
Sword Art Online- Great show and the first season is available on Netflix.

Few Older Shows I Would Suggest:
Btooom!- Awesome survival game anime.
Magi- Basically all the characters from Arabian Nights mashed together in a struggle to become king of the world with some magical super weapons tossed in.
Trinity Blood- Reminded me a lot of Tri-gun with Vampires
