I think so. Like I said, you are certainly entitled to your opinions. I don't know how you can not like the original though, it still kicks all kinds of ass. I own 1 and 4 on Blu and didn't even bother to purchase 2 and 3 yet.
I never said I didn't like it. I just mostly said that it has major issues, most of which could easily be fixed with a fanedit.
Also, isn't it crazy that two actresses from Scream 2 ended up in two separate '90s slasher films (Sarah Michelle Geller from "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and Rebecca Gayheart from "Urban Legend"), or that those two slasher films actually ended up being better slashers than Scream.
But then again it doesn't matter since '80s slashers are better than their '90s counterparts.
And another one bites the dust so to speak. It's been ages since I've watched this one, and it still feels as good as the first time. Such a great soundtrack too. Too bad we all know how it really ended in real life but we can only dream that it ended something like this...right? Now back to dkc...

I'm sorry dude, you lost me here. Different tastes keeps the world flavorful I guess, and Ack's popcorn.

Right now noise feels like he just watched Scanners.

This has to turn into a troll thread. There is no other logical explanation
Same stuff, better dialogue, more violence, but not as graphically violent.
It's the same one trick pony that the same of the sum will like, but no reason to delay it nearly a decade.
The cast is phenomenal, performances are up to par with the first, but does not exceed them. Tits, 90's film noire, nothing new. New teenagers who were too young to see the original SIN CITY in the theater will like it. People who already saw Sin City have already seen this, kind of. Not many twists, plenty of cameos, plenty rushed at that.
It's not KICK ASS 2, and by that I mean it doesn't try to 1-up itself, but for nearly a decade later I would expect a bit of improvement. And although the script is better, and the cast is better, you've already watched this movie.
Prequel, sequel...It's both, yet the same movie...kind of. You'll get what I'm saying after you see it.
Action, boobs, violence, some witty remarks, but nothing that stands out. At all. That doesn't mean it is bad, but it doesn't mean it isn't above average. It is average. So here it is on the line:
If you liked THE EXPENDABLES, and THE EXPENDABLES II, DAME is the equivalent of EXPENDABLES II. Same ol' stuff, but almost a decade later with more star characters but with less "oomph".
Unlike THE EXPENDABLES, this movie takes itself way too seriously at times, and then drops that like a hat and is 100% goofy, and not the good kind of goofy like a decapitated del Toro, but just dumb.
Fantasy without a sprinkle of reality is alright with me, but sometimes it sinks the ship.
This ship stays afloat, but barely. Not worth the price of admission. One dollar rental? Yup. But not worth the time and $20 to see this in the theater.
Feel free to skip the rest if you are offended by male nudity:
This movie series has no cock shots, no? Not that I want to see a bunch of wang, but the graphic novels are full of them and I wouldn't be bothered by it. The balance of tits to cock is pretty close in the graphic novels, so why wouldn't the guys bare it all as well? Big tough dudes who get laid all the time, but can't display downstairs? Weak.
Not that Alba, as a stripper, should have shown some skin as well.
And to clarify, I don't think a nude scene clarifies an actor/actress as "good", neither do I think "dance monkey dance" is acceptable, but if a scene calls for you to be naked...get naked.
I haven't eaten since 10:30am, so maybe some of this made sense.
