I actually really want to try the cdi games at some point and at least give them a shot.
Do it, they're a lot of fun.
Can't tell if joking or not  (unless you're laughing at the oddness of bugs I've seen in the "nintendo" ones)

-I prefer the Tales of games to Final Fantasy in just about every way.

-Navi Isn't that bad. She takes up a few seconds of your time at the most.

-I've never been able to enjoy any of the Halo Games, they just don't do it for me for whatever reason.

-The Wii U gamepad was a really good idea, and it can create some very immersive and interesting gameplay, it's just the lack of third party exclusive games that make good use of it that is killing the console.

-The current generation of consoles were the least impressive generation I've ever experienced. There wasn't the giant leap forward that previous generation consoles had from their predecessors.

-I hate it when people take a game like smash bros, or pokemon and split up the characters into tiers, and then define a small hand full of tactics and strategies as the only good ones out of the thousands and thousands of possibilities.
YES! YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING! HUG ME! :D
Funny I kinda think the same way too(except the one about consoles but I guess I went from wii to ps4...which is a big freaking jump and better than using the wiimote for some games since I never bothered to get the actual regular controller until recently with the classic controller. Which still not a good controller but a step up when playing zelda on wii vc before I got my boxed copy)
Okay, so maybe my opinions aren't quite as unpopular as I thought. :D

I plan on it! I just need to track down a cdi at some point. It's not top priority for me now, but I will get to it eventually.

-The n64 controller is meh.
-Most Sega games are very difficult to control.
-I've not played many n64 games that I enjoy.
-I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the Dreamcast controller was except for the chord coming out of the bottom of it.

Regenerating health is the worst thing to ever happen to first person shooters.
I prefer outdated graphics, new game graphics are distracting with so much unneeded detail.
If it weren't for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, I would not own a Nintendo 64, even though I'm a huge Nintendo fan.
Video games should just stop trying to have stories. They are generally terrible. At best they give me bad voice acting to laugh at, at worst they can ruin an otherwise fun game with constant interruptions. Video games are not movies. We don't need that crap.

Ehh seems like now it's becoming more of a unpopular opinion to like games with story. It just seem some games do it wrong(though I've yet to seen that happen in any game I've played since I haven't played some of the games that people complain with stories in them or most fps games for that matter anyways...)

How outdated are we talking? Do you prefer Adventure on 2600 over Skyrim or what?

I have a phobia from being bitten by a yellow duck as a child, so the dragon in Adventure is scarier than the Skyrim dragons.

I did an Advanced Search and I've made a similar joke three times on this site. I think I've finally become that old man that tells the same joke over and over and thinks he's so clever every time... :?

That just means you're all warmed up to make proper "dad jokes". That's an important skill.
