Thoughts on Ryse, anyone?

I can get it for forty at gamestop (plus I have a 20% off coupon to use as well). I've heard the game is really short; so is it worth thirty-something dollars or should I hold out for the bargain-bin?

I really enjoyed it. It's absolutely gorgeous and has the best graphics I've seen in a current-gen console game. To me it felt like a 3D brawler, where your moveset is fairly limited and it's about timing and lateral movement/dodging. My enjoyment of it, plus the rather small amount of games available at the moment make it a good get for Xbox.

I personally wasn't impressed with it but it looks amazing. More of a budget buy IMO, but as demonstrated above a lot of people do like it.

I beat Ryse. I thought it was quite fun. If they ever make a sequel they should make the combat system a little deeper.

Ryse was a blast from start to finish. It's easily worth a Jackson just for the visuals alone.

Glad my recommendation wasn't ill-advised. :)

Just curious, is that voice feature and all the little extras the XBox One can do useful or are they just nifty and neat additions? :?: :?:

Where can it be procured for a Jackson? That was my price point of interest...
