Hello everyone!

I've been luring around here a while and finally decided to sign up.

I have been a gamer ever since I was very young in the late 80s. I grew up playing the NES, then the SNES, N64, PSX, and so on and so forth. I am now married and recently had my first child and I continue to feed my gaming and retro game collecting obsession. :)

I current boast a collection 70+ NES, 110+ N64, 20+ SNES, 20+ Genesis games as well as many others from various systems. I am always looking to buy, trade, and sell to get what I want.

I am from Michigan and started up a small trading group for fellow residents of the mitten: http://www.facebook.com/groups/1447206008888857/

I look forward to conversing with all of you. Take care!
Welcome aboard Zombi! I, like BogusMeatFactory also hail from Michigan. We are looking to getting another Racketboy Michigan Meetup -- possibly in the upcoming weeks before everyone in school heads back to their campuses. Work for me picks up starting in late July, early August.

Glad to have you!

My current vintage systems are NES RGB top loader, SNES mini, Neo Geo AES and OG Xbox w/ coinops 5. I currently reside in Mississippi for now, we tend to move around a bit. :|
Welcome aboard Marty! I see you got yourself a Neo Geo AES there. any particular games you enjoy on the system? Out of your collection, what games do you have the most fun with; new or old systems, it doesn't matter.
Hey thanks, :D Yeah I play all of my Neo games regularly but my fav's are Blazing Star, GunLord, Sonic Wings 2, Mutation Nation, Slug 2 & 3. I would half to say my old systems I have the most fun with. But, I really do enjoy a lot of my 360 stuff. One particular 360 game that I was addicted to for months at a time was E.D.F. 2017 could not stop until I got the Genocide gun unlocked lol.

Welcome MCF 76 from a fellow north Mississippian  , not many of us on here. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Hey all,

My name is Branden, I'm 29, and hail from Portland, Oregon. I've been gaming for a long time but recently started playing/collecting older games. I signed up after a buddy couldn't stop raving about Racketboy and I figured I'd give it a go.

Hello, welcome aboard! What games have you been starting to collect? Any particular gems you would like to find?

Completely unrelated and completely random question. Does OhB stand for Orange Haired Boy?

Nothing in particular that I'm looking for... just casually picking up games I used to play as a youngin'. I've been growing my Game Gear collection and starting to look at Dreamcast games.

Long story on the name though. My internet friends give me crap all the time because my name is spelled differently than traditional "Brandon". They gradually just started replacing all of the letter's in my name with O's until it was just O and B. Since you have to have 3 characters in a username, I had to improvise.

TL;DR I'm not a ginger

Well welcome aboard! Game Gear stuff!? Awesome! Good to hear of another sega handheld enthusiast! When thinking dreamcast stuff, I highly recommend spending some time in How's your Dreamcast Gaming Going On? to get some input on what is going on. They are actually right now talking about prices on Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia.

If you are interested on Dreamcast stuff, there is a group who still play Phantasy Star Online there. Talk to Blu or Noiseredux about that and how to set that up if that is your thing!

But yes, welcome! It is a pleasure and reassuring to know that you are not a ginger haha.

The real reason I asked was because there was someone I know named OhB from another gaming community that stood for Orange Haired Boy. He did game modifications and was working on the open source for Myst Online: Uru Live, which is an awesome free game that everyone in the world should be playing (shame on them)!

Hey hey! My name is Daniel, I'm 23, and I've been playing games for most of those years. I've been collecting older and modern games for a while now when my budget allows it, and very recently I've started to pick up an interest in modding consoles, which I hope I can eventually get to doing some really cool stuff with!
