Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?

I don't really know what it is about Sonic Adventure 2. I've made multiple attempts at it. I've wanted to like it. It just never happened. Maybe I was more forgiving of the first game because it was the first Sonic of its type and at the time there hadn't been a new Sonic game in forever. By the time the sequel came around I may have been more sensitive to the warts.

Buy it on PSN and download an end game save file and try playing only the Sonic and Shadow stages. I know it's faaaaaar from perfect, but maybe this way you can give the game another chance?

My newest Sony product is the original PlayStation so I can't do that.

It's alright really, I've got enough games to play without angst-ing over one that at best I see my opinion improving to, "merely okay," like the first SA. I'll give it another shot if I'm ever in the mood to play a 3D Sonic again.

I've only played the Dreamcast version. I heard the Gamecube game is somewhat improved. Is there any truth to that?

Download a completed save for the Dreamcast version then? It doesn't require any technical knowledge and takes little time. There's a homebrew programme out there you can burn to disc, run in your dreamcast and then download save files straight to your VM.

Just being honest.

I didn't know this was something easy to do on the Dreamcast. I might check it out sometime.
