I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the "Game Acquired 2014" thread. Since many of them weren't purchased in 2014, I settled on this thread.
Today I got Chocobo Racing, Chocobo's Dungeon 2, and Ehrgeiz. Now my PS1 Squaresoft set is complete!
14 of the 25 were acquired this year. Chrono Cross, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FF Anthology, FF Tactics, and Xenogears were purchased new on or near the release date. The rest were acquired between 2010 and 2013.
I went to the next state over, Arizona. Hit up lots of places. And the goodwills and salvation army. I got some games! All the stores had 1/2 off! Nice!
At Salvation army for $3.50 each I got Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Emerald for gameboy advance! They look to be legit. I can see the nintendo wording above the contacts and the number stamps on the labels.
At two goodwills I got all of these together with their half off:
Guitar Hero Encore Rocks The 80's PS2 $1.00 Grand Theft Auto Vice City PS2 $1.00
Rayman Arena GC $2.00 From Russia With Love 007 GC $2.00 Froggers Adventures the Rescue $2.00
All of these disc games were Complete in box! yay!
At a random pawnshop I got two PS2 games for $2.99 each. They were Armored Core Last Raven and Shadow Of Rome . Both CIB as well!
Went to the towns Toys 'R us as well. If I thought my local one was out of stuff, this one was worse. There was nothing left of 90% off. Save for a few ps2 games and a DS game or two that I had bought already.
I got from there: Family Game Night DS in generic box, Hot Shots Tennis PS2, Rockband Metal Track Pack PS2 and a Tron Legacy comic book. I used my pocket change.... $1.84 with taxes for everything.
Finally my last stop was a Gamestop. This gamestop no longer had any PS2, PSP games. And their whole DS library was cart only. I also saw a travesty! They had a whole section of sleeved Wii games! There were still some with their box. But I knew this day was coming. Sleeve only Wii games. Damn.
I did my usual snooping and I picked up Dead Or Alive Dimensions for 3DS for $11.69. I know its not a great deal for it. But I have not seen this game locally in my gamestops for about a year now. I am content to have it in my collection now.
Well, that's it for now. Untill next buy!
