The often used (and often misued) "Sword of Damocles" is my favorite classical reference. Thankfully, I have been able to use it on more than one occassion in my writing.

I can do this all day. (In fact, I very often do spend the majority of my waking hours distributing legal advice and writing "sexy legalese".)

The term "custodial account" rings more bells so it is likely that. Honestly, I'm hoping I can just scare him with a letter at this point.
