I bought it. But I also have the PSP version and have never really played it. For some reason I think I'm more likely to play this on PC even though I often prefer portables for RPGs.

Report back with how the keyboard controls are. That might end up being whether or not I snag the GOG version or stick with just my PSP version.

No idea. I just know I won't use a controller so I'm curious to see if the keyboard controls are good or not.

Steam says it has partial controller support.

Definitely getting this off GOG or Steam on Friday, i love portable games, but id much rather play this on PC, like the Ys games.

Yes, much higher resolution than PSP, and a higher frame rate.

Looks nice. Wonder how it would run in a Wine wrapper? Don't really want to take up room on my SSD for bootcamp (or drag my desktop down to the Starbucks )

If I get the game, I can test it out in my Ubuntu install.

Game runs fine with keyboard and mouse. A lot of diagonal running though, but I guess if you often use kb+m in older style RPGs you may be used to it. Everything is at a 45 degree angle.

Definitely needs some patches too. When I run it full screen at > 800 x 600 it sometimes crashes when entering and leaving certain buildings. So no 1080p for now. And when I run it full screen the cutscenes are all screwed up. They look fine in windowed mode.

Considering the PC version was the original I don't have much hope for those patches. Sounds like I'm just going to stick with the PSP version.
