I don't think so (Isn't Dead Space 3 a prequel?). However, from what I've heard, most people abhor Dead Space 3. So, you might want to play 2 because most people say it's better.

The series has gotten progressively worse, though I still need to finish Dead Space 3. 1 is awesome, 2 is ok, 3 has mostly bored me for the first half or so.

Still the games are well made, have gorgeous visuals, and offer a unique world to play around in. I think 1 and 2 (and probably 3) are all worth playing...and in order.

And no, DS3 is not a prequel.

I probably got the information confused with Lost Planet 3.

Heh, yeah. LP3 was different devs and everything. I gave it a fair shot, but it couldn't hold me. I really enjoyed the first though and the second with co-op, the bosses were just hilariously crazy.

The Dead Space trilogy is one of my favorites for last gen though. All top notch games in my book. Miles better than politely-taking-turns-cover-shooters.

Spread the games out, playing them in order will burn you out.

Nothing fills me with sunshine quite like the Jet Set Radio soundtrack (especially on a cloudy day like today). :D

Sometimes the story was little bit to "B movie like" and some game mechanics were to gimmicky but otherwise, relly great game.

Welp, I won another minimum bid ebay auction. Guess I've got a complete Virtual Boy (US) set now.

Jack Bros came in about $10-20 less than it's been averaging, and included what looks like a pristine manual too, so I'm happy.

Now? Now I stop buying FLARGING EVERYTHING for a couple months. I have 2 group buys that I'm committed to on Neo Geo, once I pay for those I stop logging onto there for a bit, since I have approximately zero self control

Man wish i hadn't discovered this thread:

That gives me ideas that i really shouldn't have right now even though it would look amazing and would be a nice spin on displaying digital games...

Heh I should poke him to make the generic NES/Genesis/etc ones... he did the one SNES one real quick (and honestly, it was good enough for me) but didn't seem to really grasp I wanted them all.

Then again, it's a simple enough concept, I should REALLY just find me some photoshop (or I suppose, gimp) and do it myself.
