I never cared much for white systems they always stand out to much. About the only white systems left on my shelves are the Dreamcast and the kind of grayish off white NES and SNES .

That $360 deal is nice I bookmarked, but I also found there's other reputable types coming down into the $340-345 range with free shipping on new systems too. Now that's right nice. My issue with white systems is that they show dust and other junk too easily and can discolor as well, plus they're eye catching. Also as people noted even with the $10 off on Destiny, you're still paying more than buying new on ebay. Why pay $440 when you can buy a PS3 for $340+$60 for Destiny and still come out $40 ahead + local tax as that is or nearly is another game.

Because:
1.) Not everyone wants to buy from a place that's not "Best Buy" or "Amazon."
2.) Some people are willing to pay a few bucks for a white paint job.

I never argued white was bad, I just said I don't want it. As far as being so afraid you have to buy from bestbuy or amazon that's a personal issue I suppose with the buyer. ebay with paypal has buyer protection and most often they are happy to screw a seller to keep a buyer around with all the complaining I've seen online. I'm happy to throw someone the cash if they got a 99-100% level rating to save that much when it's new.
