You'll be fine. Story's not the reason to play this one anyway IMO. Gameplay is.

Got a used copy of OoT. The two filled file names:

File 1: Link
File 2: Fartboy

Pure class.

Amazon is running a $25 deal on some first party 3DS games. Grabbed Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

I got it for free for having Elite status with Club Nintendo, which is both :D and :(

But cool! Is there a list of games that are on sale?

So I feel like an idiot. Owned my 3DS for over a year now and only just a few minutes ago figured out how to turn the 3D all the way off. Apparently that little slider bar on the slide actually clicks into place to match up perfectly with the "Off" setting. I'd thought that once it stopped easily sliding that was as low as it could go, and never tried doing more.

Now, admittedly, I haven't used my 3DS much yet. Only finished one game on it, and that was a regular DS game so there was no 3D. And now that earlier today I started up Fire Emblem Awakening I accidentally hit the slider with my finger and made it click down into place, then realized what a mistake I'd been making this whole time. But still, lol.

Anyone else have this kind of issue?

I bet it might consume less power in the off position. So it's good that you're aware of it now.

I had it at least a week before realizing I had to click it in place to turn it off.

Must be a feature of the XL or later model 3DS's. I have a launch 3DS and it doesn't click into the fully off; you just need to have it at the bottom of its range (and you can see a real difference between 2D and minimal 3D; there's a sort of shimmer effect when 3D is on).
