Freedom Wars has been confirmed for a physical release in Europe after people complained about it being digital only.
On the same day, they confirmed Oreshika will be a digital only release.I think they're missing a trick here.
In all honesty, it's not unexpected. Sony really doesn't seem to care much for the fate of the Vita though. They seem to have internally written it off already.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
There seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of the physical releases. I know the Ratchet and Clank Trilogy received a physical release in Europe but is getting a digital only release in NA...alienjesus wrote:Freedom Wars has been confirmed for a physical release in Europe after people complained about it being digital only.

There are so many examples of this going back and forth between Europe, Japan, and NA on the Vita.
I think I have more imports from different regions on the Vita than I do for any other console.

How does this work with the memory cards? Can you save games from different regions on the same card?FerretGamer wrote:There seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of the physical releases. You can not.
Re: Playstation Vita thread
Are these all confirmed for Western releases? I didn't look through the whole list because I'm at work, but it seems like all of the ones I did scroll through and look up more info on ARE confirmed for US release.Exhuminator wrote:Here's a huge list of every feasible upcoming Vita game, with screenshots:

There are at least a handful of exclusives I'm genuinely interested in personally.

Re: Playstation Vita thread
That isn't correct, you can definitely save games from different regions on the same memory card. You cannot; however, access DLC from different regions and save them on the same memory card.ZenErik wrote:You can not.
For example, my memory card is tied to a NA PSN account but I save games on the same memory card from the EU, Japan, and NA. I do not access PSN content from the EU or Japan region.

Yeah, this is what I was confused about. I know digital games from different regions don't work, but I wasnt sure with physical releases. Glad to hear it's not the case for those.FerretGamer wrote:That isn't correct, you can definitely save games from different regions on the same memory card. Re: Playstation Vita thread
Perhaps I didn't read the question clearly. I was thinking downloads, DLC, etc. The question asked 'Can you save games from different regions on the same card?, and I took that a different way than intended. I have saves from Japanese physical games on the same memory card as US downloaded games, DLC, saves, etc. True.FerretGamer wrote:That isn't correct, you can definitely save games from different regions on the same memory card. Re: Playstation Vita thread
Yeah I think after looking at the last few posts of this forum I see another big reason why vita wasn't as successful in america. The physical games, usually unless it's a physical game we never hear about a ton of the games coming to NA sometimes which sucks. Plus i think some might see it, "if it's going to be digital only why not release it on mobile instead?" or at least that's how I see it...(because just looking in stores, it seems like there's no games for the system to be honest...and that it really wasn't marketed as well for us with what physical releases we did get it seems...oh well imports it is I guess
