Mostly I just like pushing the hardware to the limits. 'swhy I have a ton of systems with region free BIOS as well as mod chips even with the fact that I barely play imports. I just like to make it do everything it can do.
So yeah, curiosity
yeah there's a remote board that i used to tweak the picture as best i could. still wavey on the sides and, more importantly, goes black after about 2-3 minutes.mjmjr25 wrote:I'm not familiar with Dynamo monitors, so this is just generic troubleshooting. Do you have pots you can tweak? They'd either be inside the control panel or on the chassis itself - if on the chassis, you need power to be on so you can see how it's going, but be extremely careful around the flyback. Tweak your vertical and horizontal hold and see what it does to the left of the screen? Or, take a pic of you cross hatch screen test and we might be able to tell from that.
Do you hear any sparks or pops? My screen would go black because of my flyback arcing.aaron wrote: still wavey on the sides and, more importantly, goes black after about 2-3 minutes.
nah, nothing like that. it's weird. i'll try and get a video of it up soon, as soon as i work up the courage to destroy my living room again.bryan_65 wrote:Do you hear any sparks or pops? That's not bad, the kick harness is about $10, manual is condition dependent - nice manuals can do $10-20, that one is a bit more common, probably about $5-7. The board itself, green boards are about $70 and blue about $75.aaron wrote:just got Marvel Super Heroes w/ manual and kick for $89 shipped on the bay. how'd i do?
yeah, it's a blue. seller had it up for $125 and i offered $65, and somehow they accepted. i THINK it comes with an A board also, which will be my third at this point.mjmjr25 wrote:That's not bad, the kick harness is about $10, manual is condition dependent - nice manuals can do $10-20, that one is a bit more common, probably about $5-7.
