Possibly TMI and feel free not to respond, but did she recently stop breast-feeding? That's often when kids get sick for the first time, due to a loss of the protective immunity that breast-feeding provides.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Nah she stopped that awhile ago. She's 16 months so I suppose she lasted a long time without catching anything.

Though she seems to be in good spirits at the moment... dumping salsa all over the table.

At least she's not yet old enough to know how to fake an illness to stay home and play Mega Man.

I don't know about you but I could never pull off faking a illness especially since whenever I did feel sick and had to stay home I wasn't really allowed to even watch tv especially if my mom had to come pick me up and take me home(meaning she had to leave work). I envy all those that could fake it and get away with it :?

So you envy liars and cheats?

If one really doesn't feel good or occasionally just really need a day off for some reason, why lie about it?

Because most parents would then make you go to school.

Don't even get me started on all the kids who used to show up for school sick because the parents didn't want to have to watch them.
