Plugs? Pff. That is one thing I do, and that's pretty simple in most cases, as long as the car isn't built in a way to make them difficult to get to.

Quite a bit of that if not more I think is covered under a 100k maintenance if I'm correct...

That guy writing the letter is comparing print to newscast; it's apples to oranges. What will really kill the newspaper is being able to access it online, but I guess since they have their own website they're on the right track.
The fact is, my generation doesn't like newspapers because they're not very efficient. They're big, clumsy to hold and (usually) only get updated once a day. I'd rather launch up BBC World News Online on my phone during a train ride rather than bring a newspaper. That gets updated every couple of minutes.
So yeah, just my two cents. I've never seen someone my age read a newspaper; it will die out with the generation that reads them.

Ziggy587 wrote:Man, the highways here are pretty bad at times. If you're going the speed limit (55 here) you're going way too slow. Most people wont let you in, you have to just force yourself in when merging most of the time. And they're overcrowded.

The Long Island Expressway has the HOV lane, a lane that you can only get in and out of every so often and has restrictions to drive in. Buses, motorcycles, clean pass vehicles, and passenger vehicles with 2 or more people can ride it any time. A vehicle with no passengers can only ride it during off peak hours and weekends. Trucks and commercial vehicles can never ride it. But it fucks everything up. During rush hour and even for a while after, every one trying to get in and out of the HOV lane in addition to every one trying to get on and off the Expressway just brings traffic to a stop. Makes me wonder if they should just turn the HOV lane into a fourth lane with no restrictions. And after having to deal with it on a daily basis for about two months now, I really think they should just turn it into a fourth lane.
You are not kidding, the HOV lane is a joke. It does not work since the majority work at different hours and have different destinations to go. The only lane that has not only free, but fast traffic flow is the HOV since there is an average of five cars between every exit!

I hate the California allowance on motorcycles making their own lane. I always move over but the bike running the line should only apply when traffic is at a stop or crawl and not forty miles an hour! Some real idiots out there zipping between cars putting a new description on Rush Hour Traffic.

The best things in life aren't free, but they can be pretty darned cheap.

My wife beat me in wiffle ball, 5-3, today and Emily letting me cover our game like Bob Uecker was a blast.

Plus I only fell over the fence once, and it was graceful.

How did everyone affected by Hurricane Arthur do?

For me, the storm hit around 2am and the wind and rain didn't stop until around 8-10 am, but the sound (we've got the Pamlico Sound to the west of us, but Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras has it to the north) flooded the road and it stayed flooded all day, though by that night it mostly dried up. By this morning (I woke up at around noon, mostly since I couldn't sleep while the hurricane was going on) the water had completely dried up but it still smells like low tide at the sound.

Lydia Elizabeth.

Thanks guys! We're very happy. I'm still in a bit of shock though. It's a g-g-ga-girl.
