What are you playing?
Re: What are you playing?
Currently playing Pokemon Y on my 3DS. Have about 13-15 hrs (not sure) in the game and I've reached the elite four. My pokemon aren't super high levels so I'm kinda stuck on the elite four

X2: Wolverine's Revenge (XBOX)
I just finished the second act.
This game is pretty good. The first act was mostly fighting and a little stealth. The secon act was almost all stealth and one of the hardest bosses I've fought in a 3D game since Ninja Gaiden Black.
This game is pretty good with a good mix of action and stealth. The best thing about the game is that it's not tied to the movie and a solo Wolverine game; a solo Wolverine game where Wolverine is voiced by Mr. Joker Skywalker himself - Mark Hamill.

That is definitely the second best Wolverine game ever made.

I finally got around to playing Duck Tales Remastered for Wii U. I think I'm in love with this game. It's so much fun, just like the NES original.
Even my wife, who couldn't care less about games, was entertained with the characters and original voice actors from he show.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's inside story; besides some forced tutorials for the mini games and the fact i have the "blow in the microphone stuff" im having a blast with this game, this is the first i play in the mario & luigi series but consider me a fan after playin this one.
Siren new translation; well i was doubting about buyin this version (asian) since the EU one has some extras, but i decided to buy and when i reached home checked hardcoregaming and finded out the only extra is a making of... so nothing to be missed excep for a english manual. Well the actual game... is great dead space atmosphere has nothing compared to this game im about the chapter 6 or 7 and every second im on the edge of my seat. That damn town is creepy.
Best buys i could have ever done.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition, to be exact). It's not an amazing game. I think both are pretty similar in terms of quality of gameplay. I think X2 is absolutely more polished. But Origins gave us some legit Wolverine time doing things we've dreamed of doing as Wolverine for decades. Also, it's got a nicer combat system.graffix_13 wrote:What's #1?Cronozilla wrote:That is definitely the second best Wolverine game ever made.

I'm just sad its the only one.
I really wish publishers would take the hint and use Arkham Asylum as confidence that you can take a character, build a game around them, and really elevate it and it's still good and makes lots of money. It'd be nice if people did that with other characters.
Like, wouldn't it be great to get a good Superman game for once (arcade is the only good one). There should be a crazy ass Wolverine series.
I don't think it'll happen, really, because most licensing is done by selecting the lowest bidder. Marvel seems to be wising up, though, considering how terrible all the Sega Marvel games are. I would hope if Disney interactive grows, we might see something pretty incredible come out from that.
There's just some characters that would be amazing to play as, and those multi-character games are just not very good. I would love, for example, a Silver Surfer game. And a Green Lantern game would be insane. It makes me feel like, the closest we'll ever get to a Green Lantern game that anyone would actually want to play is Wonderful 101.

Disney Interactive needs to make high quality X-men games, Star Wars games and Tron games. If they don't, at least give the franchise to someone who will make them high quality.Cronozilla wrote:I would hope if Disney interactive grows, we might see something pretty incredible come out from that.

Agree. I enjoyed X-Men Origins: Wolverine very much! Watching Logan heal on screen after getting riddled with bullets was cool. Plus, like you mentioned, the combat was fun. I liked unlocking the various costumes (the X-Force one was my favorite).Cronozilla wrote:X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Uncaged Edition, to be exact). It's not an amazing game.
