Ah, that's an even better example! If both games are on one card, it wasn't even an issue of space.

So what the hell? Where's the logic?

Maybe the multiple language data takes too much space?

Because of how expensive Vita space is, no chance I will be picking it up on Vita.

speaking of space, I was looking at Virtual Consolle and noticed something:

Kirby's Advneture on NES requires 65.9mb of space.
Zelda: The Minish Cap on GBA require 141.1mb of space.

WTF. How on earth did they manage to get an emulator + rom to take up THAT much space?

Wow, what the hell is with that? I wonder what takes up all the space.

For comparison, a download of the entire NES rom library, including all known hacks and translations and revisions, takes up less than 240mb of space.

That's really weird because on the Wii NES games took almost no space :S

The file size is because is each title has a emulator and digital manual (with HD image) wrapped up in it.

Also file size it shows, is the file size required, not the size of the download. Kirby's Adventure, when viewed on the Wii U, only takes up 16mb.

Generally NES games take up 15MB, and SNES games take up 25MB, despite being advertised as much higher.

It looked like it might have just stopped and then we got into a 'Nintendo is kiddy' argument. Is this fucking 1993? Have we time travelled

I feel we must have, because RCHB repeats the same shite over and over as if he has never said it before. Jesus fucking christ.

Is there any way to remove a post from 'view your posts' if you're sick of the fucking sight of it?
 My debut in this thread was basically me poking my head in and shouting "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" at everyone. I try and bite my tongue. But about my wall of text on the last page, you have to understand, I was just passing the time at work.

I'm not much of an internet guy, and most of my Nintendo news is found from this thread alone. I wish this thread focused only on that type of thing. Discussing new games that are announced, released, breaking news, etc. All without diverging into debates over nonsense. Especially the same debates time and time again. But, I've already stated my opinion about this a while back, and again a few hundred pages later. And probably some where in between as well.
Had to respond to this one. I have unloaded here a few times LOL. I also get most of my gaming news from this site. I wish they had a thread devoted to the "gaming news". Hey, maybe someone should start that. Though, I would prefer it got its own category.

The original game will be a digital download via the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe, and on a separate disc in Japan.
Why does Japan get a disc and the rest of us don't?

I never understand this kind of thing.

Before anyone gets on my ass about this, I want to stress that I'm not ungrateful about the inclusion of the original game. I just don't understand why only one country gets a hard copy.
Probably cost. Two discs in Japan is a nice addition for their home-country consumers, but I don't think they want to pay the bill for publishing a two-disc game for North America and Europe.
