It's been released on a couple of DVD collections. (I assume you mean this one).
Yes. Going to post a youtube link for the few people who haven't seen it and are too lazy to google for it

As a world war 2 buff I love it. Not only is it funny as fuck, but I also love all the propaganda. How negatively Germans, Italians and Japanese are portrayed.

Though it's nowhere near as bad as Tintin and the blue lotus, which was actually published before the war but after Japan had occupied Korea and parts of China:
How Chinese are portrayed in that comic:

How the Japanese are portrayed in it:

(the comic's creator was Belgian so his comics had a lot of propaganda characteristics against the axis forces, and after the war against communism)

I just enjoy all these things that were influenced by what was happening in the world at the time. I can't imagine any western comic creator in the modern day and age to portray china positively over japan for example.

I've occasionally taught a class session on media representation using a lot of these old "banned" cartoons. I have a lot of the Walt Disney Treasures DVDs including this one which has that aforementioned Donald Duck Cartoon as well as stuff like Education for Death and Disney's films about how to rivet, how to stay clean, etc.

Did you know the Popeye cartoon "You're a Sap, Mr. Jap!" was the first Popeye appearance and launched a hit song?

My boss told me I need to "create more time".

I'm building a clock.

Fudge you, that's clever.

When your boss told you to create more time, you should have stood up on your office chair to reach the analog clock on the wall, then turned back the clock an hour or two, and said, "How's that?"

THAT'S clever!

If you're talking black face stuff then yeah that is kinda bad but it can't be as bad as some of the stuff that family guy pulls every once in awhile(I think some of the stuff they show there and on boondocks would make anything in looney tunes look like a saint even though looney tunes is 10x better than any of the crappy cartoons showed now since all they consider cartoons especially hero ones is comedy and there is none of the story based hero cartoons left really on tv). But you've got to admit guns, black face and everything can't be anywhere near as bad as some of the crap you can see in modern cartoons that are aimed at adults. Most of the edits I hear that came out of the looney tunes stuff and others just sounds like people that get upset over the littlest things now a days(which you didn't see happen as much apparently in the 60's from what I can tell from watching what i have of all the classic cartoons before they removed a good chunk of them from boomerang)
There is that, and Boondocks and such crosses lines, but in a different context. Boondocks is a lot of black on black commentary, and Family Guy is just childish, but some of the banned ones get rough. The Bugs Bunny WWII propaganda against the Japanese makes them pure stereotypes, and certain banned cartoons are really rough on blacks, such as one I have showing shooting dice stereotypes, stupidity stereotypes, and showing the black character wearing nothing but a fig leaf and dancing tribally.

It isn't meant to be fun/entertaining...it is a government contract film that is mostly interesting from a historical perspective: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_for_Death

Read the details under "Production" there: Disney did this and similar films to keep the studio afloat...

Two caveats.

1) I don't even feel safe sitting in my office chair. No fucking way would I stand on it.

2) I don't have a clock, nor even a light in my office.

Interesting about the production. Well the Donald Duck cartoon managed to be both entertaining and a propaganda piece so I had hoped for something similar with this.

Damn those swastika shape works outs were hilarious  (mostly cause I could imagine the Germans coming up with something like that sooner or later)

That's boss talk for "I think you screw off too much" and/or "you work inefficiently". Either way not a good thing to hear from a boss.

If it makes you feel any better I asked for a raise due to an ever increasing workload at my job, and my boss literally gave me a gold star instead. I am now looking for a new job because I didn't find that very amusing.
