I don't know about that. Some pages back in this thread, when MK8 launched, I remember talk of a spike in console sales. There was speculation of the same happening when the new Smash Bros comes out... then Zelda. Look at Dsh. He said multiple times throughout this thread (IIRC) that he wouldn't buy a U until it showed more promise or more games were out for it or something like that. Then he posted that he broke down and bought a U when MK8 was released.
When you break Dsh down to purchase a system he has been so outspoken against...you know you are on to something.

I am curious to know exactly how big of a console spike happened when MK8 came out. Curious!

Meh, it was some pages back when MK8 was first released. Within the first week of the release, IIRC. I kinda just sped read it, so I don't recall numbers at all.

That's awesome he bought one, and I hope he's happy with it. But it's just a drop in the bucket. How many Dshs are there in the world?? Only one. How many people bought the Wii U for MK8? 100,000? I don't know. Does it matter? Not according to Ziggy.

Exactly. Me too. And curious to see the spikes that may accompany Zelda, Smash, ... Metroid?

Dsh has actually been involved in a secret program to make the notion of human cloning more palatable to the average American. There's actually now 11,000 Dshs across the world, with the number growing everyday.

No, my wife and I bought it a year ago for the crazy good deal we got on the larger memory size, ZombiU, a pro controller and NintendoLand.
