Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS. My wife loved playing that one.

That game looks great. Surprised I don't own it yet.
I'm a sucker for Nintendo platformers. In fact, I just fired up New Super Mario Bros. a few hours ago. Gonna alternate between that and Zero Mission for a while.

Re: What are you playing?
I've decided to spend my summer free time playing through the main series Final Fantasy games.
I just beat the Dawn Of Souls version of FF1 today, and was kind of surprised when it only took ~11 hours for the main game. I stopped halfway through the bonus dungeons, but I spent an extra 3-4 hours on those. I really hate having to teleport out, and play through the same mazes over and over to clear every boss in each bonus dungeon. Between the seemingly high encounter rates in there, and the relative ease of enemies (which is ridiculous given the difficulty of the bosses) I just don't find them to be any fun at all. I've never spent much time with 2 or 3, so these next ones should be a treat.

I quite enjoyed Super Princess Peach when I played through it last year. It's made by the guys who made The Legendary Starfy and you can tell. I think it's pretty underrated.

Goes to show how much time is spent grinding in the original.SpoonyBard wrote: I just beat the Dawn Of Souls version of FF1 today, and was kind of surprised when it only took ~11 hours for the main game.

Re: What are you playing?
So I am playing that new-fangled game, The Forest, which is currently in alpha stages. Yeah, I am a sucker and plunked down hard earned cash to buy an incomplete game....but guess what? I am enjoying myself!
It is a survival game in its truest form. Your plane crashed, your child stolen by a tribe of cannibalistic zealots and you have to survive as long as you can in the forest without dying. After playing for an hour, a lot happened.
After the crash, I grabbed a lot of supplies from the wreckage and noticed a tribesman nearby watching me. I ran as fast as I could into the forest, only to be jumped by a man and woman. I ran around like a crazy person, hacking away at anything I could hit and managed to take the two down. Later, I noticed a guy hiding in the trees and I quickly started to bolt. There were hordes of tribesmen in the forest, most likely alarmed by the plane crash. When I finally was able to hide from them, I decided to settle down.
I have yet to die or be captured and have made a small little base camp near a pond within the forest. Numerous times, exploring tribesmen stumbled onto my camp, but thankfully, I was able to beat them off with my axe and use their body parts to make burning effigies as warning for any who stumble upon it again.
After running out of food and almost dying from starvation, I had to wander out to hunt. Luckily, I found some fish and some berries I could eat and did not come across any other tribesmen until my final night when a large group of them were near my camp. They just watched me from a distance and eyed my effigies with caution. A few strays stayed behind and I hacked them to bits to work towards an enormous effigy I am building. Just need one more head.
It is a really cool so far. People have experienced a lot of bugs, which I have to experience, but my play time is still early.
