Right, I think us being unable to defend for ten minutes against a team that didn't have much shape in the midfield or forwards will prove to be problematic. I agree too that Wondo and Yedlin lacked some clarity on holding possession on Portugal's corner flags. We could have easily held onto the ball and prevented a lot of the chances Portugal had even before the 94th minute. I think Cameron, Gonzalez and Bradley are to fault for the 94th minute goal.

Beckerman and Jones are actually quite fun to watch, and Beckerman really locks down when we need him. The two work very well in tandem. But wow, Jermaine Jones goal was a beaut.

Chile and Netherlands is going to be stellar to watch today. I hope the Aussies decimate Spain, just to rub some salt in some already excruciating wounds.

It has been a fantastic world cup, I'm looking forward to Greece vs ivory coast tomorrow (so my beloved team can advance to the next round scoring only ONE GOAL!!).

I am happy for Costa Rica, I always liked guys like Ronald Gomez and Paulo wanchope years ago and glad to see they are not scared of anyone

As for England...god save the queen
The McCollum wood burned well.

Mexico spilt his pint and Croatia nicked his xbox. That's why he's so cynical.

The commenters here have been saying that the boat back to Europe is already full (Spain, England, Portugal), let's hope we won't get squeezed in
