The number one most wanted 3DS game for me would be a new F-Zero. I want to play turbo fast F-Zero with the 3D effect maxed out. Miyamoto says there's nothing left to do with the series but that's a bunch of malarkey. Howabout use your Mii as a pilot, design your own ship, a track editor, a story mode with bosses and cutscenes and ship upgrades, online competitive racing, local WiFi racing... just for starters. Why can't we have this?Retrogamer0001 wrote:I don't think anyone will argue that's time for a new F-Zero game

PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I would give anything for a HD F-Zero for the Wii U. Hell, I'd settle for a HD remake/update of F-Zero GX. That game was pretty much perfection anyways, but imagine being able to play it online in glorious HD?

I'm aware of Dolphin. I don't think my computer could handle it though. I guess I did say anything though lol.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:If "anything">$350:Reprise wrote:I would give anything for a HD F-Zero for the Wii U. Hell, I'd settle for a HD remake/update of F-Zero GX. Why Nintendo does not make games the fans want like F-Zero, Stafox, and Earthbound. I am not fan of the games, but if my customers demanded games for so long I would make it for them, especially when my current sales record are not that great in the home console market.
Other companies would do this too, and even in movies. You would hear a lot of fans trying to a sequel, but they don't care instead they put something else the customers were not anticipating.

I think the issue is that often these are loud fanbases who's internet presence may not actually accurately reflect the market demand.RCBH928 wrote:Why Nintendo does not make games the fans want like F-Zero, Starfox, and Earthbound. They're making a new Star Fox in any case.

Exactly. I have also stated before the F-Zero does not sell. Earthbound, although popular...does not sell. Also you will not see a new earthbound as the creator is done with the series. Will we see a localization of Mother 3? With the introduction of the GBA virtual console, they might if they use the fan translation (which the fans have stated Nintendo can take for free).AppleQueso wrote:I think the issue is that often these are loud fanbases who's internet presence may not actually accurately reflect the market demand.RCBH928 wrote:Why Nintendo does not make games the fans want like F-Zero, Starfox, and Earthbound. If you were a creator and fans told you to make sequels, you would whether or not you wanted to or Even if you felt that you couldn't make a good follow up? Even if you didn't make money or lost money?RCBH928 wrote:Why Nintendo does not make games the fans want like F-Zero, Stafox, and Earthbound. Star Fox sells double the amount of Mother and F-Zero combined. Makes sense money wise why they choose Star Fox over them.
