Re: What are you playing?
I have been playing Pangya Fantasy Golf on the PSP, this game is very difficult and addicting. I've put about 3 hours into the game and have only beat two of the tournaments, meaning that for the most part, I've been replaying rounds that I've lost (multiple times)

"Shmup" is far more elegant!

Don't know why but I'm playing Remember me. I think I'm on ch 6 now and man I hate these leapers, especially when i'm trying to get my focus built up to finally attack one with a decent move to get further. I keep putting myself in a hole that I can't get out of somehow
I swear I'll beat this and zelda 1

Resident Evil 4 HD on PS3.
I beat the PS2 version last week and I instantly wanted to play through it again. I decided to spend the money and get the HD version for the trophies.
I can't believe I never could get into this game in the past. I love this game.

Made it to ch 7 in remember me but dang these leapers(especially the ones I'm supposed to be taking down) are a pain in the rump. I really need to go back to zelda but for some odd reason something is compelling me to finish this game...I just can't seem to dodge just right and feel like I need to restart this thing with a walkthrough to make sure I get more of the extras....even if some of these things were a pain in the rump to get through the first time(and sadly I'm playing on script kiddie mode
)

Re: What are you playing?
Jumping back into my Metroid Fusion run (Wii U VC).
It's grown on me and I do like the way things evolve with the plot and ADAM. I do like that it's generally a lot harder than Super Metroid, but ... it still just doesn't feel like it'll be that memorable to me. Maybe I should blame the limitations of the hardware/screen, but I just wish the levels were literally bigger in scope. The areas feel very small and inconsistently busy with rooms left and right looking completely different from one another, the other games have very distinct massive areas, not so much here overall. Although the game opens up more as you go, it happens in a really convoluted way with areas you've been too previously expanding with some new areas here and there, so it feels like tons and tons of forced backtracking. I guess I just like the simpler natural progression of "this single path is the new area ahead" that Super Metroid fits a lot more.
I'm a sucker for Zero Mission and still think it's way better than this. But all around Fusion is still solid and it's been fun to replay after all these years, but it's near the bottom for me and I would take Circle of the Moon and Aria of Sorrow over it as well.

I really wish they'd break and just release Zero Mission on the VC. The cart is constantly heading North in price. €20 seems to be the average, cart-only.

I think it's been confirmed for Japan so hopefully NA gets it sometime too.Balasubbie wrote:I really wish they'd break and just release Zero Mission on the VC. The cart is constantly heading North in price. €20 seems to be the average, cart-only.
