Re: Xbox One
Seconded. Xbox One has gotten an incredibly slow start and if E3 is any indication there isn't much on the horizon to be excited about either. Perhaps the 360 was the same way initially though? I wasn't playing video games back then...

Re: Xbox One
Haha, I already have a Wii U and a PS4. That is another issue. All of the great "next gen" games I already have on the PS4. I just know that eventually the XB1 will be worth owning and right now I have the cash for one. So, I can't decide if I should take the plunge now or wait until the library is better.Retrogamer0001 wrote:I think you should buy a Wii-U...

Re: Xbox One
Personally, I would wait. There's nothing out there right that warrants buying one, especially if you're buying it just to buy it. Why not buy some games for your other systems?Frag Mortuus wrote:Haha, I already have a Wii U and a PS4. That is another issue. All of the great "next gen" games I already have on the PS4. Re: Xbox One
It's stupid but the Halo collection makes me want to run right out and buy an Xbox One. Then I can stare at it for several months while I wait for the game to come out.

I'd wait, since I really doubt the price will go up.Frag Mortuus wrote: Haha, I already have a Wii U and a PS4. That is another issue. All of the great "next gen" games I already have on the PS4. Chances are we'll see a special edition console for Halo 5 or something anyway.

Re: Xbox One
My Xbox One experience so far has gone like this:
-Played Forza for a week, realized I didn't like it
-Played Dead Rising 3 for a couple of months. Really really enjoyed it.
-Console becomes a Netflix machine for 2-3 months.
-Bought Titanfall. Still playing it to this day though not as much as before, but a great shooter that will probably have a long life span.
-Other than that, sitting here waiting for another game that piques my interest.
Given the above the choice is yours. I'd probably be getting around the same value out of a PS4 though to be honest. If you have a 360 I would just continue to buy games for that. I've had one since launch and lately I'm buying more games for it than ever before and it's been great catching up on the cheap.

Re: Xbox One
I realize a lot of the Kinect haters will disagree, but I think them switching over to selling the Xbox One without Kinect is a major misstep.
I guess a lot of people just want their Xbox One to be a less powerful PS4 with a few exclusives. Yea, I know a fair amount of people 'just want a controller'. Fair enough. There are already far too few games that make use of Kinect. And now there will be practically none outside of Harmonix games. Do I want a Xbox One just for a few Harmonix games? Well.. Maybe. Hard to tell right now. :/
Would really love to see another game like Child of Eden. Great visual, great music, and uses the Kinect quite well.
Seems like the Kinect has already been relegated to just being used for voice commands.
Already have a PS4. How are they to sell me on a Xbox One? I am not really that interested in most 1st party Xbox games. Hopefully they get some good shmups or something if not some interesting Kinect games. Though I'd rather shmups come on a console I already own.

Re: Xbox One
Did anybody here ever buy Zoo Tycoon?
It's already pretty cheap. Easy to find sub $20.
It's one of the games I'm considering picking up with a One in a month or so.
