I've not. I have a gap from Oasis to Taylor Swift, so 2000-2010-ish. I bought less then 20 CD's over that 10 year gap, 4 TMBG, 4 Jack Johnson, 2 Barenaked Ladies, 2 Staind, 1 Bucky Covington, 1 Taylor Hicks (my only regret), 2 Tenacious D and 2 Nickelback.

Well to be fair, they had the height of their popularity was between 96 and 2001.

This is the worst/saddest thing I've ever heard (today).

Fashion Nugget is one of my favorite albums. It's worth listening to, Mike!

Naw, I like all music, truly. I don't quite understand the Nickelback hate tbh - yeah, the songs all sound mostly the same, but they're fun and cool to strip paint or put up walls to.

TMBG / Jack Johnson / BNL; all fun / safe / catchy sing-a-long in the car stuff, great for family road trips.

Truth be told, my wife and I listen to 60's-70's (The Animals, Stones, Zeppelin - my wife) and I listen to 80's (Journey / Chicago / REO) with a lot of Irish stuff (The Chieftains, etc), and Folk (Tom Rush / John Prine / Todd Snyder / Tom Paxton) thrown in.

I like hip hop and rap quite a bit as well; but my wife doesn't appreciate it and my kids are too young to understand context at their age, so I don't play much of that. I like all music. I do have a massive 10 year gap though.

Y'know what's funny - I haven't heard anyone say anything positive about Nickelback in years... And yet they're still selling records. Hmmmmmmm.

I wish people would be honest about their musical likes and dislikes (or likes and dislikes in general), but being "the cool guy", even on the internet, is way too important, apparently.

(Note: Not saying anyone here is being dishonest about their likes and dislikes, but I'll bet there are more than a few people who hate on Nickelback while rocking out to their latest album)
Final Fantasy IX is the best one
