It's not ever going to have ps4 games until the ps5 comes out and even then they'll only be playable on the ps5. That's a long ways away ha ha

Just got a code to Alpha test Destiny. Anyone else get one or has played a demo of this? I have no idea what to expect with the game.

LBP3 is also coming on PS3? Then what's the point of next-gen? At least this explains why the graphics didn't look like anything new in the trailer.

There IS no point - PS3 and 360 had plenty left to offer when the new consoles were announced, and these cross-gen releases are simply proof of that. I'm still holding out hope that Bloodborne is getting a cross-gen release!

Eh I think the new consoles were needed. The last gen consoles are underpowered with their almost toaster like specs and it was holding back the industry as a whole. This is just the beginning of the generation of course there's going to be plenty of remakes and cross platform stuff. Look at the Wii u when it launched, Mass Effect 3, Batman, Call of Duty ghosts and a ton of other stuff available other places that had been there for awhile. There really wasn't a reason to own the console at the time for most people, just look at the sales(zing), but people bought it because of the promise of what's to come. We're in a transitional period right now and it'll take time for games to come out that justify the purchase of a console. Come holiday next year I can almost guarantee it'll be time to upgrade to a new console if you aren't PC gaming.

Next gen has been a total dud so far. I haven't touched my PS 4 in about a week. Even as a multi-media tool I'm starting to dislike the PS 4. It doesn't have 3D movie playback capabilities, so my new 3D tv has been getting used primarily with the PS 3. Also, the WWE network seems to run like shit on the PS 4, but seems more stable when running on my PS 3
