I'd rather see one with the pixel art we all know and love. I'd love to see a game from nintendo return to that...

This. Unfortunately, I think if we were to get another side scrolling Metroid it would be made with polygons. Besides indie games, I think sprites are dead. =[

Even the new Guilty Gear game uses 3D models (correct me if I'm wrong.)

Fantasy Life is intruiging but it'll take a lot of convincing for me to consider buying that STEAM game. I hear "Valkyria Chronicles" but I see that art direction and my excitement drops instantly.

Or F-Zero on the Wii U with the sexy HD visuals of Mario Kart... or as Exhuminator said a F-Zero in 3D...

So much potential here!
If they release a Metroid-themed Wii-U (similar to the Metroid Prime Gamecube) then I'll have no choice but to buy it...

I want F-Zero with Oculus Rift support. It will never happen, but it is what I want.

NYKO would make a head mount for the Wii U gamepad. And go "VR ON WII U"

The new Mario vs DK game is 2D sprites (I think ... it could be really nice cell shaded polygons, I suppose)
