BogusMeatFactory wrote: yeah that is a ridiculous statement as almost every nintendo game released on the Wii U has every single control scheme imaginable, allowing you to use pro controller, classic controller, wiimote, wiimoore+nunchuck and game pad.
Until you hit a Captain Toad level, and you have to use the Gamepad so you can...blow on the mic. NSMBU patched in support for the Pro Controller, and doesn't support the classic controllers, etc.

My thought is more towards Wii titles though, like DKC Returns, or Mario Galaxys, or Zeldas, or whatever else that Nintendo decided should use motion controls and thus had no option to not. Maybe they've turned over a new leaf regarding that, which they should for accessibility reasons if nothing else, but 3D World makes me skeptical.

I loved everything I saw on the Nintendo presentation, there were the ones we were expecting (Zelda) and complete surprises that I am excited for (Splatoon). The Mario maker game looks like it could be pretty fun as well, hopefully we can share and rate levels.

I also loved the Robot Chicken style scenes, and especially the heckler in the crowd!

Update: An earlier headline for this post stated that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is coming to PS Vita, which was incorrect. Type-0 is coming to PS4 in North America and Europe.

Sony - B+
Xbox - C
Nintendo - C

Certainly better in the games department, as last summer was the debut of hardware. Looks like there's a lot of cinematics and not much of gameplay, was hoping to see a little more demonstrations of each software, but it's good to know that there are things brewing for each console.

Highlights for me:
1. No Man's Sky
2. Abzu
3. Ori and the Blind Forest
4. Halo Collection
5. Destiny
EDIT 6. Little Big Planet 3
7. Super Smash Brothers Wii U / 3DS

Well, just so you know, Nintendo has been streaming nothing but gameplay of all of their games. Their intro was really just that; an intro. We are seeing non-stop Wii U stuff right now and it is pretty cool.
