Thank you! I remember Number Munchers very fondly, and if I recall correctly, it was a very solid well-designed "arcade" game. (That said, I also think that Donkey Kong, Jr. Math is one of the best early NES games; so, maybe I am just a bit strange.)

EDIT: Personally, I think the "Munchers" series is sorely in need of a gritty reboot...Number Munchers: Origins, Number Munchers Rising, Number Munchers: Black Ops, Number Munchers: Minnesota Drift, etc.

Outnumbered in that series is pretty good too(and yes it is in that series from what I recall).

Also I just discovered roller coaster tycoon is on gog...almost want to get it there but I think I can find a decent disc only of that for about the price they want for it or cheaper and play it on my xp computer possibly

Can we just say MECC ruled when it came to edutainment? At least on the Apple II!

Speaking of Apple I found something interesting out just last night. Turns out one of the 2 Steves that founded Apple was a pretty damn good Tetris player.

Yeah, I read about that in The Ultimate History of Video Games. He also submitted a lot of Tetris scores to Nintendo Power (including some fake names because he thought they might be ignoring him for submitting so many scores).
