I'm at a similar spot - I can't seem to sell mine wonky for $350, meanwhile I could do what you describe, sell the PSU, the populated control panel, the wiring, and the speakers for about $300. Drop in one of my repro panels, TV, and supergun and be good to go.fastbilly1 wrote:I am at the point where I am going to discharge, pull it out, and mount a 27inch TV I have and supergun in it instead. As much as I love 15khz gaming, I will not let the monitor be the death of me. I now have a monitor with issues, a dead PSU, dead ballast for the light, and a popped speaker. I would put a 27inch LCD in there, but it would have 2 inches of dead space above and below of the monitor, but it could spin.

Yeah...My wife showed it to me. (Bless her heart.) We agreed that she is an unbelievably beautiful woman who can most certainly get away with that dress.

Im thinking about just dropping in the 25inch Sony crt I have on hand right now, and routing down the Svideo, Composite, and Component cables, and wiring the CP to two PSX controllers. That way I can adapt to whatever I need and just make it my dedicated retrogaming setup - with inbuilt controls if I have adapters for them.mjmjr25 wrote:I'm at a similar spot - I can't seem to sell mine wonky for $350, meanwhile I could do what you describe, sell the PSU, the populated control panel, the wiring, and the speakers for about $300. Put a new motor in my A/C.
Worked great for a while, then it suddenly stopped. I could hear the motor working, but the fan isn't spinning and its definitely not blowing any air inside.
I don't know what the problem is now. Pisses me off.

Didn't tighten a set screw enough (or against the flat spot) or some belt tensioner?CFFJR wrote: Worked great for a while, then it suddenly stopped. I could hear the motor working, but the fan isn't spinning and its definitely not blowing any air inside.
