I am at the point where I am going to discharge, pull it out, and mount a 27inch TV I have and supergun in it instead. As much as I love 15khz gaming, I will not let the monitor be the death of me. I now have a monitor with issues, a dead PSU, dead ballast for the light, and a popped speaker. I would put a 27inch LCD in there, but it would have 2 inches of dead space above and below of the monitor, but it could spin.

I'm at a similar spot - I can't seem to sell mine wonky for $350, meanwhile I could do what you describe, sell the PSU, the populated control panel, the wiring, and the speakers for about $300. Drop in one of my repro panels, TV, and supergun and be good to go.

Im thinking about just dropping in the 25inch Sony crt I have on hand right now, and routing down the Svideo, Composite, and Component cables, and wiring the CP to two PSX controllers. That way I can adapt to whatever I need and just make it my dedicated retrogaming setup - with inbuilt controls if I have adapters for them.

Put a new motor in my A/C.

Worked great for a while, then it suddenly stopped. I could hear the motor working, but the fan isn't spinning and its definitely not blowing any air inside.

I don't know what the problem is now. Pisses me off.

Didn't tighten a set screw enough (or against the flat spot) or some belt tensioner?

/ - can't sleep and need to...my sister's dance recital is today and I need to be asleep so I can at least get a hour or two of sleep before hand.....looks like I'll be pulling one of my dad's moves and getting a energy drink or something to keep me awake though it...
