I was not hazing simply because a newbie. Everyone has experience to bring to the table. I just do not dishonesty and on top of that boasting about the bad integrity.

@ smoogyvonsmoogy - I realize now that holding a game for nine months puts a different reason why you bought the game, apologize for judging you on that count. Some don't care one way or another about resellers, I just do not like it when one buys a game just to sell at a higher price and not even try the game out. I look at all the games I have found at a great price that I have an opportunity to play before a reseller had a chance to snatch it away to the EBay crowd.

I'm not an honest pure Eagle Scout either. I once bought a disc holder full of Xbox games for twenty bucks. It included Conker, but I was not about to tell the seller who knew nothing about any of the games worth. So how was this different? I did not purposely try to bury it between two cheap games in attempt to camouflage it as another five dollar game. That is like sneaking a diamond between two glass ear rings. Yes the seller is stupid, but where is personal integrity?

I also think Retro Gaming stores are in competition with Gamestop. Even though they sell older games, many also stock recent titles. Even if they only sell older games its still a price competetion to generate sales over a customers game buying budget. Anything dishonest killing the little guy is wrong, competetion is always a good thing to keep the "Wallymart empires" in check.

Clearly, you missed the post where I bragged about finding a nice, minty copy of Extreme Sports with the Berenstain Bears (GBC) for a mere $2.

EDIT: Wait a minute...I posted that in the "Games Acquired" thread...so I will have to brag about it now.

.....

I FOUND A CART-ONLY COPY OF EXTREME SPORTS WITH THE BERENSTAIN BEARS FOR $2. KNEEL BEFORE ME!!!!!

Dishonesty would have been saying "How much for the crappy sports games? I need something silly for some party drinking games."

Hehehe, little old me turning the forum into a total gong show! But anyways, for a far less controversial find, I picked up a copy of Super Mario 64 a couple years back from a garage sale, and about a year ago Charles Martinet, the voice actor for Mario was in town signing autographs and stuff, and I got him to sign my copy of the game! He was really nice too, and it was cool talking to him for a few minutes.

Signed to increase value, yes. We all are only temporary holders of games anyway and never really own anything permanently. That's the way I look at it.
