Shit, I just forgot; just haven't been into shmups here lately.

Been scratching the fighter itch, and just got GT 6 on top of that, so not much time for shmupping.

It's all good. I've had a good time with this game this month. I see there's a lot more to it, and after peeling back a few layers to chaining and scoring, I am improving very well here.

Hopefully my pick for next month with more ports that are easy to get will bring them all back. Looking forward to the entire summer, with Kai, Ikaruga and Phelios.

Wasn't paying too much attention to the stage, but I'm pretty sure I was on Round 5. Will play it a bit more in a couple of weeks, once the TRP-STGT 2014 is done...

Happened to play 1943 Kai on a MAME cab at a work offsite (it was an 80s night party) just a month or so ago.

Trying to decide if I want to play this on the PS2 or import the Capcom Generations 1 for the Saturn (I enjoy the 19xx series so would be a nice asset for the collection as well).

Jumping back on the shmup train (plane? ship? loli?) this month. 1943 was always my go-to "BLOW SHIT UP" game on the NES, so I'm excited to try this version, which I've never played.
