What are you playing?
Re: What are you playing?
Thanks for the tip. I'll emulate after I finish X. Although, I think taking away the 1st person aspect would make the game less original and different.
Re: What are you playing?
Ok got a little curious because I had got it as a freebie and played some Brothers: Tale of Two Sons....I think now I understand why usually we only control one character. It's not a bad game so far but trying to correctly manipulate them at the same time can be a little frustrating like i keep trying to do...

Controlling both takes a little practice, but it's a pretty key aspect of the game. It's short though (Steam says I beat it in two hours or so), and never really gets that difficult outside of wrapping your head around moving both characters (granted, dual boxing for years in FFXI probably helped me some with that).darsparx wrote:Ok got a little curious because I had got it as a freebie and played some Brothers: Tale of Two Sons....I think now I understand why usually we only control one character. Yeah i'll probably beat it later when I go back to it. It's definitely one of the better indie freebies I've actually played through so far...

Never, ever try The Adventures of Cookie and Cream (PS2). It looks fun and original, but it will break you.darsparx wrote:Ok got a little curious because I had got it as a freebie and played some Brothers: Tale of Two Sons....I think now I understand why usually we only control one character. Re: What are you playing?
I guess it's worth noting said game also got a DS release.

To keep the thread on track...
I'm still playing Spirit Tracks. I'm working on getting to the Fire Temple right now, about 10 hours in or so. Good puzzles, good music, meh aesthetics, meh enemies, and the train does get old. Still a relatively fun game though.

I may be wrong, but I think that the DS version is more a sequel than a remake.Exhuminator wrote:I guess it's worth noting said game also got a DS release.
I see what you did there...Exhuminator wrote:To keep the thread on track...

Also, I agree with you on Spirit Tracks. It is not my favorite game in the Zelda series by a long shot, but it is still a lot of fun. If you like it and have not done so already, you should play Phantom Hourglass and Okamiden. Both are awesome. (Although I can see why some people might not like Phantom Hourglass as much as I liked it, Okamiden is just great.)
