Like I said in the other thread, if a new game comes out on PC and Ps3, I will buy it on PC. My PS3 is an old fatty hooked up to a CRT. My PC is nice and new.

That said, if it looks like Ultra is very active here on PS3, I would prob grab it there too. If not then I'm fine w/ just having AE as a console option.

Why not hook it up to an HDTV? Didn't it used to be?

Nope. It was at a time sharing my pc monitor. But now its setup at my game room couch and does netflix duty as well.

You don't have an HDTV in your game room? Do you have one at all? What is your 360 hooked up to? I thought your Wii was your Netflix machine?

Why not keep the PS3 hooked to the PC monitor?

Sorry to badger, just trying to understand the logic behind your setup!

You are killing me. No. I have no HDTV in the game room. If you buy me one I will. My cat ate through the sensor bar cable of my Wii and I haven't cared to replace it. The PS3 makes sense on the CRT cuz its my netflix, youtube and DVD player as well. My 360 is in the living room hooked up to HDTV so my wife can play Kinect games. The fact that it is in the living room is why I haven't played a 360 game in 6 months. I promise you that even if my setup makes no sense to you at first, its logistics have been over-thought by me based on my personal gaming habits and household setup.

As a total aside to the convo, do you have a classic controller for your Wii? If so, you can use the analog to move the cursor and navigate the menu, no need for a sensor bar!

Not as much as your setup is killing me.

Clearly the weak link here is the cat.

No doubt!

Thats a good tip actually. I had no idea that was possible. Pretty sure I have a classic controller around somewhere.

 What an odyssey. I am a full believer in just going for whatever option brings you the most enjoyment. If paying more $$ for a steam game allows you to play more and be in your comfort zone, go for it.

But I guarantee you all the cool kids will be with us on PSN 8)

In for late-night Ultra PSN update. Passing out on arcade stick likely.
